My name is Alexander Bryant. I was born in the Dominican Republic; but grew up and have spent most of my life in different parts of the US. Ever since I was very young, I was always interested in fitness and health. All throughout my life I have always been the “smallest” guy in the group, in my class, and even among my other family members. At the age of 17 I decided to do something radical with my life, and so I started my journey to transform myself into the best version of me. I began by joining the US Army, as soon as I graduated high school. I learned a lot about physical fitness, and became more interested and motivated. During this time, I also gained a lot of confidence, and even became experienced training other soldiers. By the time I left the Army, I had dramatically changed from a 116lbs boy, to a 160lbs man. The following years I focused on going to college, but still kept working out and taking care of my body. It became an outlet, whenever I needed a break from the stresses of school, and even life.

As I got older, my body kept changing and becoming more defined. This opened a lot of doors for me, by giving me the opportunity to work doing different types of modeling and dancing. After finishing my undergraduate education in the premedical sciences, I moved to New York City. Here I am currently working on earning my M.S. in Biology, in order to start a career in research. After moving to NYC, I have been given the chance to work doing different types of fitness and art-related modeling. Throughout my journey, training and keeping up with physical fitness have only brought me good and positive things, success, and confidence. This is why I have decided to pursue physical fitness on a professional level, so I can share my experience, and hopefully help others become a better version of themselves.

 

In order to maintain and improve my physique I live a very active life. I train at the gym at least 5 days per week. Training consists on exercising a particular muscle group; and switching/rotating it, so as to let those muscles rest and recover. I do not follow a set diet. I typically just make sure my body gets all of the vitamins and nutrients it needs, by eating well-balanced meals throughout the day, and supplementing with vitamins. Working with John doing the photo shoot was a great experience. The process was very professional, and I had the chance to learn more about the industry. He was very helpful in guiding me through the entire process. I am very impressed with the final product.
