At the age of three Anton Mandeville arrived in Seattle, Washington after being adopted from Sofia, Bulgaria.

Very soon after he arrived, being continually active and always looking for something to do, he became extremely involved in athletics.

He quickly picked up martial arts at the age of five. From there on Anton’s life included a lot of physical training.

Systematically rising in belt rank, and consistently improving, he started competing in Tae Kwon Do.

At the age of eight he took first place in state for the heavyweight division. This qualified him to compete in the Tae Kwon Do Junior Olympics in July of 2001.

Training was 6 days a week, 4 hours a day.

After all of that intensive training it was finally time for the competition. Winning only one round out of three, he didn’t advance.

After the event, however, Anton seemed even more driven. Not even a year later he earned his junior black belt. Still, he was involved in various competitions.

In the next four years he earned six gold medals, four silver and two bronze. At age 12 it was time for something new!

Anton moved on to a new sport, which was bodybuilding. With an already strong frame, and a very agile body, this was the perfect sport to fall into.

He started to train at his local gym. Right away he got started in a workout program with a personal trainer to teach him the basics.

After eight sessions he took what he had learned and excelled in it. Working out three days a week, covering every muscle group in his routine, Anton became well built.

At age 14 he needed more education in training and nutrition. That is when he opened up his bodybuilding.com account.

Here he learned a lot about the right nutrition, training, and many other helpful things he found there.

Another two years of hard work, together with everything he learned, and he was able to turn his physique into one of the best built for his young age of 16.

That is when Anton Mandeville decided to compete in bodybuilding. His first competition was the Vancouver USA Natural Bodybuilding Championships on March 28th, 2009.

Being the youngest in the competition, and the first one to step on stage, it was time to show the judges and attendees what he had worked so hard for.

In his division he got 4th place out of five contestants. It was a great new experience and he knew that this was now going to be something to pursue.

It wasn’t too long before he did another competition, just six months later, the Washington Ironman Bodybuilding Championships on October 3rd, 2009.

After taking 3rd he knew he could place well in the Emerald Cup which is a much bigger and more competitive competition. He ended up taking 3rd out of 6 contestants in the

Junior Men class. Taking a 2 week break after the show he got back in to it to condition for his first professional photo shoot, (bbpics) which is a very high quality

Photographer for all types of modeling including bodybuilding.

Hobbies: All sports including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and many more.

When it comes to my diet I just make sure I eat healthy and eat throughout the day making sure I get the right amount of protein, calories, carbs, and vitamins consumed. I try to get in 2,800 to 3,500 calories a day.

I eliminate processed foods as much as possible. I eat my fruits and vegetables and eat clean.

John Mitchell (BBPICS) is a very high quality photographer that takes his job serious and is very patient with who he works with. He has taught me a lot how to pose in front of the camera and become more comfortable. He brings a new style to photography with not just boring studio shots to update a portfolio or whatever it’s for; he makes them interesting and catchy. He is a very nice guy ever since I met him. He is there for you and does everything to help I couldn't ask for any more. Again, thank you John Mitchell (BBPICS) for the great photo shoot is Seattle you have done. This is his profession and he’s a naturally gifted photographer that a lot of talent that other photographers don't have. I am very fortunate to get this opportunity with him. If you are looking for a portfolio to be updated or pictures for anything, he is the number one choice especially for Bodybuilding, Fitness Modeling, or Fashion.
