My name is Frederick Schmitz and I was born and raised in Tennessee. I love Tennessee, but I also love to travel. I have been to almost every state in the west and some up north. Someday I hope to travel to Australia and many other countries.

I went to high school at Highland Academy for all 4 years. I have always been a person active since I was little. When I first learn to ride a bike at 4-5 years old, I was trying to learn tricks as soon as I hit the pedals. During high school I was involved in gymnastics, football, tennis, basketball, and some golf. I also helped train my brothers in little league baseball for 2 years, which I really enjoyed. In the summer time I enjoy being on the lake with jet skis or riding dirt bikes and four wheelers with friends. I also like spending my spare time under the hood of an old car or going to the drag strip for a few runs down the track. Car shows have always been one of my family’s favorites as well. During winter I prefer to be on a mountain snowboarding or riding snowmobiles.

To bluntly honest I never saw myself as a model or into fitness, but when my freshmen year of high school came. I started working out a little on the side with some buddy’s. I didn’t really get serious about it till my junior and senior year. Since then, I love working out and being in a gym atmosphere. My workouts usually include a variety of exercises. I usually don’t ever do the same workout twice, because I don’t want my muscles adjusting to the same workout every time. I think putting a constant change in your workout keeps your muscles surprised and working. As for modeling, I never found that part of me until after high school. I got some pictures taken by a photographer, by the name of Robert Livingston. After those pictures my family and friends encouraged me to look into modeling more. When I started looking into it, and getting more pictures taken. I started to realize that I did have some potential and that I really enjoyed modeling.

Working with John was great. I believe we got some really good angles and shots. He was also open to any new ideas that I had and was easy to work with. I did have to the opportunity to watch him work with a few other models and see how he handled things. I always enjoy working with new photographers and seeing if there taste of a good picture is close to what I see as a good picture.
