My name is Laura Haddad and I am originally from the country of Lithuania living in the United States in Connecticut. Recently, I spent seven months living in Los Angeles, CA with my husband Douglas traveling to different schools in the Los Angeles Unified District speaking to adults and children about being super healthy in mind, body, and spirit. I experienced how people live in a variety of communities and what we must do as a society to help one another on a daily basis.
I attended the University of Vytautas Magnus in Kaunas, Lithuania and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in sociology. I briefly worked as a youth counselor and the experiences that I have gained in working with troubled youth has inspired me to help so many people in life. Currently, I am a life coach assisting individuals with family issues, relationships, and eating disorders. It is rewarding for me to see people expand their thinking and progress in life.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising to stay in great shape and eating healthy foods. In my opinion, there is nothing more important than one’s health. I go to the gym to maintain good health as opposed to “looking good”. One of my favorite foods is any kind of fruit or vegetable juice. I enjoy creating concoctions with my Jack LaLanne Power Juicer. The vitamins that one gets from a freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable are awesome! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to boost the immune system, feel more naturally energetic, and simply be healthy year round.
Talking about modeling, this has been my third photo shoot with John Mitchell. John has made a transition in his photography from prints to digital and the quality of his work is very impressive. John is easy to work with. He has a creative eye for posing situations, a knack to capture good lighting, and is very patient. I look forward to working with John again in the future!
