My name is Nejim Sharbek, I am 26 years old currently, and I am a broker in the Tampa Bay area. I am originally from Cleveland, OH, but I decided to relocate to Tampa, Fl 7yrs ago when I was offered an academic scholarship to attend the University of Tampa. Before I even came to the University I was heavily into bodybuilding at the tender age of 15, I would workout everyday on my abandoned Soloflex that my father bought but never used. Over my high school years I built a solid foundation on that machine, noting that it is not even free weights. Pressure came to me when I began college and I was not the big kid anymore, so I hit the weight room religiously at the school day after day and people saw how hard I worked out and acknowledged me for the work and ethics. Soon enough the school decided to hold a lifting meet; I entered at an 187pd weight and ended up taking first place my sophomore year.

My scholarship initially was for premed; however that changed to Business Management and a minor in Exercise Physiology. Even though I was not premed anymore, I wanted to do something scientific and with exercise, so I decided a minor in Exercise Physiology since I had acquired some credits from premed, why not, you know? After graduation I got into personal training, started my own business, I tailored to college students that have known of my reputation and the business executives that I have met over the years, and that did not have enough time to work out at the gym, but had the affordability of hiring me and having their own personal gym in their house, it worked out really well. Even though I did not compete in bodybuilding, I still trained like one and ate like one, but was continuously educating my self about ergogenic aids and diet chemistry. I have received a lot of compliments over the years, and people asking me if I competed or telling me I should compete, but I always shrugged it off, I made it a point to reach a weight goal which was 225 and trim down to light heavyweight and compete around 198, I am almost there, before I shot with John I was around 217.

I received a call from my friend Paul Desimone, who has worked with John, telling me you should work with this guy. At first nervous because I worked with two photographers before, and being the gullible person I am, they promised me everything, and basically, lets just say it was one of those scams. But since Paul recommended him, I knew it was a good candidate to do a photo shoot with. So all this weight I put on, which was actually good lean weight, I was only 217 at 12%, I did not know if I wanted to lean down to 6-8%, but I said why not, turns out for the shoot I was around 192-95 for the two days.

So I decided to ask John if my fiancée Danielle Rouleau could do a shoot with me, and he said absolutely. He said tell me about her. Well, let's just say she's only 21 and she will be turning pro soon for figure, and she has already signed a big contract and has a good sponsor behind her back. She has been competing for 5yrs, and has won over 15 figure shows over the course of the years, and just recently doing the USAs. It turned out to be an excellent photo shoot, John was an easy, very professional photographer to work with, lets just say he will not forget Tampa, we had allot of fun and some crazy times. My next goal over the several months is to get back up to 225 and do a show, when, I do not know, when I feel that the muscle maturity is there, I will do it, but I would like to do more fitness type stuff, I love fashion as well as bodybuilding, but I am more of a versatile person, and would like to do everything, but I am a big fitness buff. Wish me luck, and again thank you John for the opportunity.
