My name is Jason Gauthier, I grew up being a very motivated person through my entire life (credit that to God and obviously my parents) whether it was school sports, snowboarding and even fitness down the road. Basketball I would say took up most of my time as my junior year in high school I played for an AAU team and traveled to tournaments along the east coast. I didn't start working out at a gym actually until after that basketball season was over. I then began lifting here and there. I always had targeted my abs ever since I can remember. I feel that the abs is like the stamp on the body. They are the focal point and because of that I dedicate allot of time and energy to that particular area. To me having a nice physique is useless unless you have jaw dropping abs if you will. Whatever I do in life I feel I can succeed in it if I put my mind to it no matter how big the challenge.

I had attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach Florida. Upon my return I met up with a local photographer who wanted to work with me to develop a modeling portfolio. In turn I was discovered by MTV. They were looking for new faces for the show MY SUPER SWEET 16 and asked me to be on the show which will air this season.

Well the only way to take advantage of NE is by being outdoors I would have to say. I love getting a bunch of friends together, grabbing our nice summer vehicles and head down to the beach for the day. LOOOOVE being at the beach, especially if it's hot hot. Also during the summer I definitely love playing any sort of sport. Basketball, soccer, maybe a little deck hockey. In the winter it's all about work and then snowboarding. If I can get out on the slopes a few times during the winter I am real happy. It's always a good time renting out a hotel room right on the mountain with a few friends and just kickin back for the weekend.

I was introduced to John by a fitness scout of his. John spoke to me three days before his next shoot and we still managed to get together. I had photographed with a friend of mine who knows John and we both agree he is a great guy and also a great photographer. I really enjoyed working with John as we will touch up on aspects of my look that we both appreciate.

Working with John Mitchell is a breath of fresh air. His professionalism combined with friendliness really makes it a fun time on any photo shoot. This past photo shoot had to be one of the better ones I've had with John. Biggest reason being it was 75 degrees outside and not 10 degrees plus wind in the cold winter which me and John had done on three previous shoots. John had great ideas with the backgrounds with contrast to the clothes I was wearing. You could tell John had done this many many times before because of his precise location for shooting at different times of the day. What I mean is, John had the whole day mapped out even before we got there so that he made sure we would have the best lighting throughout the day. He made it easy on me.
