Fat Loss
The key to success

In every aspect of our lives we should all have some sort of goals to achieve or concur. These goals define who we are, to ourselves. They tell our character and give us something to focus on and look forward to. Having goals in life is important, whatever they might be. Having goals set high is imperative to success. In order to apply this to fitness and those goals we make when we make the decision to live a healthy lifestyle, we must first look at one specific area.

Setting your goals high when it comes to fat loss, helps lead you to success in the rest of your life as well.

The area this week is fat loss. Setting your goals high when it comes to fat loss can help lead you to success in the rest of your life as well. The first step to loosing 20lbs is try to achieve loosing 40lbs in the same amount of time you would try to loose the 20lbs. Don't think that you can't do it or it is too hard or some other excuse. We have to stay thinking positive and know that we can achieve that particular goal.

If we need help we get help, get a trainer. If we are going to do this, might as well do this right. Tell him honestly that you are looking to learn and do tell them your specific goals, set high of coarse and do ask question. If a trainer really knows what they are talking about they won't have all of the answers right away but they are always willing to find out for you and for themselves. You can never put a price on your health so don't shop for the lowest price trainers…cause you will get what you pay for in this industry.

By loosing body fat you do a number of good things for yourself. You look and feel better both mentally and physically. You are healthier and will have tons more energy to do the things you have to and like to do.

Obese people tend to tire faster because of their eating habits. Usually it is the way people eat that makes them obese, excluding the thyroid disease of coarse. Eating right doesn't always mean eating "healthy". So the first step is learn how to eat.

Eating less food more times throughout the day keeps the metabolism higher and forces the body uses more energy, in turn burning more body fat. Eating less fatty foods is a must, for obvious reasons.

Eating more protein in conjunction with a good training program will increase lean muscle. Protein is the building block for muscle fibers. Building lean muscle will increase the fat burning process because your body is going to require more energy to function once it has built more lean muscle. Your body will get this extra energy from the excess fat already stored on your body. The simple way to start out is to consume about 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight per day. A simple formula to remember is that 8 oz of cooked meat, chicken, fish, or red meat contains about 50 grams of protein. 1 egg white contains about 3.5 grams.

Cutting the amount of carbohydrates you consume will also help to reach your goals of loosing body fat. Carbohydrates provide your body with energy. There are two types of carbohydrates, simple and complex. Simple being the sugars that are broken down extremely quickly and should be avoided whenever possible. Complex carbohydrates are the foods that have a lower glycemic index or used more efficiently as stored energy instead of immediate energy, such as starches. Any extra carbohydrates that your body doesn't use gets stored as fat. Regulating the amount of carbohydrates your body intakes as well as regulating the times when you consume them is very important. You want to time the intake of carbohydrates according to the energy your body will be using. For instance, if you are going to be exercising one hour after you eat, then your meal should consist of a higher amount of carbohydrates then if you were going to be sleeping one hour after you eat. Simply consume no more than 1 gram of carbohydrates per lb of body weight per day.

Keep in mind that this is a simple start to a long road and it is advised that you meet with both a doctor and a trainer to successfully devise a personal program just for you. Once this is done you are on your way to fat loss.

"How can this help me in other aspects of my life?" you ask. Well the first step you took was setting your goals higher than you really wanted to achieve. That alone, if applied to every aspect of your life is enough to make you more successful due to the fact that the road is longer and harder to reach these higher goals.

The higher your goals, the harder you will have to work to achieve them.

In turn, the higher your goals, the harder you will have to work to achieve them. When you are halfway there you are actually there already. Achieving goals is a mind-set, as long as the knowledge and the desire is there almost anything can be achieved.

Another way that loosing fat can help make you more successful in other aspects of your life, is that during the time you are loosing the un-necessary fat, you will immediately have more energy and that will lead to being more productive at what ever it is that you are doing with your life. You will be able to focus more and think more clearly. You will be in a better mental state due to eating right and exercise and when done correctly can release certain endorphins in the brain that will keep you thinking positive. As you begin to see results you will become more motivated to keep going with it. You now will lead a healthy lifestyle and that accomplishment alone will help make you more successful in life.
